1940 News coverage concerning Huthwaite

Indexed here by weekly edition are all the years columns extracted from The Nottinghamshire Free Press, which are found bearing relevant coverage of all Huthwaite related matters.

Scanning through this years pages startign from September was in a search for reports on war casualties. There being none found, must presumeably have been regarded bad news for moral. Noted shockingly however, even though not occuring in Huthwaite, were a number of serious, often fatal mining accidents.
