Classing Huthwaite Schools

John Davis School
Primary & Nursery Classes

Sited atop Barker Street and first opened in 1960 to provide Huthwaites only ever secondary school. Its comprehensive classes ended 1977 under County Councils educational re-organisation, who kept this modern structure for transferring all younger pupils with renaming, from original New Street schools.

All Saints School
Church of England Infants

Built in 1891 atop Common Road, this Church of England school uniquely continues teaching some of Huthwaites youngest today. Classrooms remain partly funded by the Anglican Southwell diocese, its recognised name reflecting dedication in facing our later built and their so named parish church.
