Thanks to another named Mr Brian Hayes also raised in Huthwaite but currently living in Kirkby. Brian took up photography before he left school to start miner training at New Hucknall Colliery. Employed there until 1970 dates when he shot these magnificent old pit yard plus railroad scenes. Scanned for sharing future digital display, Mr Hayes further assists by his recollections that expand mutual historic interests. It is therefore with great delight that Huthwaite Online can show separate preview album pages, linking Brians related interests.
